Thousands of Peter Andre fans packed in to the Ashford Designer Outlet last night (Thursday 17th November) for the annual Christmas light switch-on event.
The Mysterious Girl singer performed several of his hits as well as John Lennon’s Happy Xmas (War is over).
Andre, who was joined by Pip and Puppy from Britain’s Got Talent, Take That 2, along with several local acts, flicked the switch to illuminate over 130,000 sparkling Christmas lights.

In an interview with the Kentish Express, the Aussie heart-throb said: “This Christmas I'll be eating, drinking, sleeping on the couch, watching movies, eating chocolates - kids climbing all over me - and having friends over.

"It's a great time and I love that here it's traditional. In Australia you don't get the traditional Christmas feeling - it's a hot day but it's missing this, the traditional English Christmas.

"In Australia we'd have a cold turkey with a beer, which doesn't make sense because you don't go cold turkey and have a beer. But this year I'll be doing a big turkey and a big lamb - a 'lurkey'."
Last night’s event also saw the opening of Ashford’s first ever outdoor ice skating rink.
